How Much is the Venue, and How Much of a Deposit Will they Require?
This is one of the first questions that you should ask a potential venue, so you know exactly how much you need to budget for. This will also help in your search for venues, as you’ll be able to rule out the ones that are out of your price range quite quickly.
Can They Host the Ceremony and the Reception?
Some places are hired out for receptions only. It is worth asking if the same place is capable of hosting your ceremony as well. Only having to worry about one venue, for one price, is a great advantage to have when you are planning your wedding.
Can They Cater?

No wedding is complete without a good old dance at the reception. You’ll want to ask your venue about their capabilities to host your entertainment. Can they provide a band or DJ, or will you need to hire one? The sample applies to sound, lighting, microphones and all the other aspects of your entertainment – can they provide it or will you need to hire it or ask around your circle of friends and family? These are things that you need to know to make sure that you and your guests have an amazing time at the reception!
